Sound of MU (N)
One cannot deny it might just happen

A group of artists and musicians decided to open this experimental venue with a bar a couple of years ago in the Grünerløkka neighborhood of Oslo, and over the last couple of years Sound of Mu has been a crossover exhibition room and concert venue. When Sound of Mu moves from one city to another it invades a new space, losing its everyday audience only to gain a new one. It is an experiment in hospitality. The Sound of Mu collective become the hosts at the same time as they are the guests, and their newfound audience become the guests at the same time as they are the hosts. One cannot deny it might just happen is site- and time-specific, and is an effective way of discussing just what Tempo Skien is about: site-specific temporary art. One cannot deny it might just happen happened on the opening night of Tempo Skien 2008, and Sound of Mu will be back with another project for the closing night on October 4th.
